Shape and Selection

The Derian straw fedora hat has a unique shape among other fedoras. While it is shaped in the traditional teardrop crown, the brim is quite a bit larger with a three inch Outback design. A Southwestern inspired look, the Derian fedora is available in only one color combination. The burlap straw hue is adorned with a belt band in a blue, black, and burgundy southwestern-inspired design.

The 100% paper straw material of this hat is protected by a Raindura finish.

Specialty Features

Bailey recently introduced Raindura® Finish to a number of the hats they design and create. The revolutionary thermosetting yarn is inserted inside each paper straw fiber before the hats are woven. After weaving, a hat with this finish will always return to its blocked shape — even after being completely drenched.
